Maestoso, romantico, brillante: il “Concertissimo” mostra fino in fondo il carattere timbrico e le possibilità tecniche ed espressive della Tuba.
Il brano è strutturato in tre movimenti.
Nel primo, Allegro, dal suono poderoso dello strumento nascono temi ampi e di grande respiro.
Nel secondo, Adagio, la Tuba rivela la sua cantabilità ed espressività.
Nell' Allegro con spirito, infine, sostenuta da un ritmo incalzante , trionfa la tecnica strumentale.
La Banda si intreccia con disegni timbrici, espressivi e tecnici al grande virtuosismo del solista,
in una musica affascinante ed accattivante.

Majestic, romantic, brilliant: “Concertissimo” clearly demonstrates the characteristic timbre as well as the technical and expressive abilities of the tuba.
The composition is structured in three movements.
In the first movement, Allegro, broad and flowing themes
arise through the powerful voice of the instrument.
In the second movement, Adagio, the tuba reveals its expressive and melodious capacities.
Finally, in the Allegro con spirito, the instrumental technique triumphs through a sustained rhythmic pursuit.
The colorful , expressive and technical patterns of the band intertwine with the virtuosity of the tuba in music which is charming and catchy.
